Julia Olayanju PhD is the Director at the Global Food Health Institute. She leads research and innovation at the Institute
Dr. Olayanju earned her PhD from Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She lectured at Rutgers University Honor College and was an adjunct faculty at Kean University, Union, New Jersey.
Research Interest & Focus:
- Understanding factors influencing dietary choices in populations to enable evidence-based community interventions.
- Understand how food interact with the body on a molecular level to impact health. Identifying and developing a clear understanding of bioactive compounds found in food with potent anticancer properties.
